One person was killed and three others were left with serious injuries in a high-speed Infiniti crash in Anne Arundel County over the weekend, police said. Mateo Green, 23, was sitting in the back seat of a 2012 Infiniti G37 that was heading northbound on Sands Road near Patuxent Mobile Estates in Lothian at a high rate of speed when the Infiniti crossed over to the southbound lane and struck a utility pole on the opposite side of the road around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, according to police. Horse-Buggy Crash Sends Infant, Three Others To Hospital: St. Mary's County Sheriff
An unruly horse led to a serious crash in Southern Maryland on Sunday afternoon, the St. Mary's Sheriff's Office announced. Deputies were called shortly before noon on Sunday, Dec. 10, where there was a reported incident near the intersection of Point Lookout Road and Pin Cushion Road in Leonardtown involving a driver that struck a horse and buggy. Maryland Hospitals Graded From Safest To Least Safe
A website dedicated to analyzing and publishing data on safety and quality of hospitals in the US has released new findings. Each hospital is graded A through D on infections, problems with surgery, safety problems, practice to prevent errors, and doctors/nurses/hospital staff. Maryland has seven hospitals that were graded an A by the Leapfrog study, and two that were given Ds.
