Police are seeking the identities of six suspects after two businesses were struck by gunfire last month. Officers responded to the shooting report near the 900 block of Persei Place in Rockville around 12:30 a.m. Friday, March 8. Police have identified the innocent driver killed by a wrong-way car thief during a police pursuit on I-695 earlier this week. Dimeka Thornton, 37, of Windsor Mill, was operating an Acura TSX when she was struck by a driver in a stolen car in the outer loop, on the ramp to Exit 18 to Liberty Road around 12:15 a.m. Monday, April 8, the Maryland Attorney General's Office said in a release.
