BU Grad Alex Cooper Expecting First Baby With Husband Matt Kaplan
“Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper announced Sunday, May 17 that she is expecting her first child with husband Matt Kaplan.
Cooper, 31, a Newton, PA native and former BU soccer player, shared photos on Instagram showing off her baby bump alongside Kaplan.
“Our family 🤍,” the post was captioned.
Cooper, one of the biggest names in podcasting, married Kaplan, a film and TV producer, in 2024.

A man is facing federal charges after he was caught on camera throwing a large rock at the head of a beloved and endangered Hawaiian monk seal, authorities said.
Igor Mykhaylovych Lytvynchuk, 38, was charged with harassing and attempting to harass the protected seal, the US Attorney's Office for the District of Hawaii said in a news release on Wednesday, May 13. The Covington, Washington, man was accused of violating the Endangered Species Act and the Marine Mammal Protection Act.
