The votes are in, and these are the best hamburgers in Massachusetts, according to burgerphiles. Over 5,000 voters took part in a survey conducted by Taste of Massachusetts asking where to find the best beef patties in the Bay State. More than 1,000 people tossed their favorite restaurants into the running and, after four rounds of “some very close voting,” the website had its ranking of the 16 best burgers in Massachusetts. She Touched Many Lives: Mass Native Dies In New Jersey Car Crash
Stephanie Weymouth, a Wilmington native, is being remembered for her passion for teaching and performing after being killed in a car crash earlier this month in Jersey City. The 31-year-old Bayonne resident was killed Saturday, Feb. 3, in a car crash after the vehicle she was riding in struck the back of a tractor trailer, authorities said. A 2010 graduate of Wilmington High School moved to New Jersey to attend Drew University, graduating in 2014 with a degree in theater arts, and later receiving a master's degree in education, according to her obituary. Winners!: Two Massive Lottery Jackpots Hit On Same Day, 3 Miles Apart In Burlington, Wilmington
Two new Massachusetts Lottery winners are practically neighbors after the tickets were sold on the same day less than three miles apart. A $650,000 $100X scratch-off ticket was sold at the Town Pantry in Burlington at 85 Wilmington Road on Tuesday, Dec. 12, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. On the same day, a $100,000 Mass Cash lottery ticket was sold in Wilmington at the Sunrise Market at 327 Main St. The stores are just one turn and 2.7 miles away from one another. The state lottery office did not release the winners' names.

A 24-year-old man from the Greater Boston Area was killed in a motorcycle crash, authorities said. Rodrigo Rosa, of Wilmington, died in the crash that happened on I-93 north near Exit 31 in Wilmington around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, Massachusetts State Police said. Two men were arrested for driving under the influence and crashing their pickup truck into a home in Wilmington, authorities said. Timothy Fortin, of Holyoke, was driving the truck when he and Robert Dupont, of Wilmington, drove into the home on Shawsheen Avenue around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, Wilmington Police said. The Wilmington Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a robbery that occurred earlier this month. The gun-wiedling man demanded a woman's phone and jewelry while she was walking on the trails behind the Wilmington Family Medical Center around 5:30 p.m. on July 6, police said. Two Hospitalized From Morning Rollover Crash In Greater Boston Area
Two people are in the hospital after a morning rollover crash in Wilmington, Wilmington Police and Fire said on Twitter. The crash happened on near the McDonald's on Main Street (Route 38) before 10 a.m. on Friday, June 17, authorities said. The victims had to be pulled from their vehicle.
