Shooting: Central Mass Police Investigating Early Morning Attack Worcester police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent a man to the hospital with serious injuries.  Police responded to Shotspotter activation in the Southbridge Street area just after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13. Officers found the 36-year-old man bleeding from a bullet wound in a parking lot at the intersection of Southbridge Street and Lafayette Street, Worcester police said.  Police provided medical aid until paramedics arrived and rushed him to an area hospital. Hartford Man Found Shot To Death In Broad Daylight On City Street, Police Say Police are investigating the shooting death of a Connecticut man after police responded to a ShotSpotter notification. The incident took place in Hartford County around 12:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 11 in the area of Capen and Enfield Streets in Hartford. Responding officers located a gunshot victim at 224 Capen St. The victim, who has been identified as Michael Starks, age 29, of Hartford, was unresponsive on the scene and was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, said Lt. Police Investigating Afternoon Shooting In Western Mass Police in Hampden County are investigating a shooting in broad daylight on Monday, March 30.  Springfield police were called to an area near the intersection of Cornell and Harvard streets just after 5 p.m. to reports of a shooting. They found a man on the ground with a bullet wound. Paramedics took the victim to Baystate Medical Center for treatment, and his injuries are considered not life-threatening, Springfield police said.  Detectives are investigating the incident. Police ask anyone with information to contact Springfield police.

Teen Seriously Wounded In Shooting; Central Mass Police Searching For Attacker An 18-year-old is in critical but stable condition after he was shot Tuesday night, March 21, while in Worcester, authorities said.  The teen was hospitalized following the 11:30 p.m. shooting on Beacon Street, Worcester police said. Officers provided medical care when they arrived and found the man bleeding from his injuries.  Police did not release the man's name.  Detectives ask anyone who has information on the shooting or may have seen something suspicious to contact them at (508) 799-8651.

Man Seriously Injured In Springfield Shooting: Police Springfield police are investigating a shooting that left one man seriously wounded earlier this week.   The shooting happened in the 0 to 100 block of Belmont Ave. just after 4 p.m. on Monday, March 20. Officers found the victim bleeding from his wounds, and paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries, Springfield police said.  Authorities have not released the man's name or an update on his condition.  Detectives are searching for the shooter.

Police found the man, and responders rushed him to Baystate Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.  Police did not release the man's name or an update on his condition Tuesday morning.  Springfield police detectives are investigating the shooting.

Officers gave him aid, and paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, Worcester police said.
