Naughty List: 8 Santas Busted During NJ SantaCon Over Fights, Crashes, Chaos Some people attending SantaCon 2024 in Hoboken, including several from out of state, couldn't help but end up on the naughty list. Hoboken police said eight people were arrested at the annual event on Saturday, Dec. 21, where people dress up as Santa Claus for a bar crawl, a spinoff of the popular event held every year in New York City (scroll down for details).  Overall, police issued 16 traffic summonses, dealt with 13 fights, and responded to three motor vehicle crashes, police said. Man Found Hiding In Woods After Crash In Western Mass, Police Say The Massachusetts State Police air wing helped locate a man who ran from a motor vehicle crash into a heavily wooded area. The incident took place in Berkshire County shortly after 5 p.m., Friday, April 8 in Clarksburg. Following the crash of a pickup truck, troopers responded to East Road to search for the driver who fled into the woods after being involved in a crash with another vehicle, said the Massachusetts State Police. Man Charged In Hit-Run Crash With NY State Police Cruiser On I-84 In Putnam County The driver of a tractor-trailer that struck and damaged a New York State Police cruiser on Interstate 84 before fleeing the scene has been apprehended, authorities said. At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, a state trooper on patrol from the East Fishkill barracks was monitoring traffic on a stretch of the roadway in Putnam County in the Town of Kent when the tractor-trailer struck the cruiser and fled the scene.
