A Malden high school teacher is facing serious criminal charges after prosecutors say he raped a student he knew.
Scott Marino, 54, of Stoneham, is expected to face a judge on Thursday, Feb. 26, one day after his arrest.
Authorities allege Marino gave alcohol to an 18-year-old student and then sexually assaulted her on Feb. 18 in Stoneham, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
