A Long Island woman has died following a car crash in a parking lot on Nantucket in Massachusetts, authorities said.
Stacey J. Rosen, 62, of Atlantic Beach, was walking through a parking lot outside a Stop & Shop grocery store in downtown Nantucket on Monday, June 29 when she was struck, the local police department said.
Rosen died later from her injuries, the Nantucket Police Department announced Friday, July 10.

A grieving family is demanding justice after a Cambridge city worker and father of a 5-year-old boy was shot to death while off duty, leaving loved ones and neighbors searching for answers.
Xavier Bautista, 32, was fatally shot shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, near the intersection of Broadway and Norfolk Street, steps from Sennott Park in Cambridge.
