Video: DUI Driver 2X Legal Limit Says Car Hit Black Ice Before Slamming Denville Building New bodycam footage shows the arrest of a 31-year-old Rockaway woman who was more than twice the legal limit when her vehicle slammed into a Denville office building last month, police paperwork shows. Police were called to 95 E Main Street near Indian Road on reports of a "loud bang" around 10 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2024, Denville police said. These Towns Got The Most Snow In CT: Winter Storm Brings 6 Inches Across The State Connecticut towns experienced significant snowfall from the storm that swept through the region on Jan. 19 and 20. Towns in Hartford County recorded some of the highest totals in the state, with North Canton and Glastonbury Center each receiving 6 inches, according to the National Weather Service. Homeless Man Found Sleeping At Ridgewood High School Athletic Field: Police A 54-year-old homeless man was found sleeping at Ridgewood High School Tuesday morning, Jan. 21, police said. The man was found near the footbridge of the high school field just before 7 a.m. by a concerned citizen who called police, Ridgewood Ridgewood Police Capt. Glenn Ender said. Students typically begin arriving at school around 8 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., the temperature in Ridgewood was 11 °F. The man was transported to The Valley Hospital.

'Jerseylicious' Star Lorenzo Gangala Of Parsippany Dies Months After Surviving Motorcycle Crash Lorenzo Rocco Gangala, a Montclair resident who appeared on the former reality show "Jerseylicious" died on Thursday, Jan. 16 at Mountainside Medical Center surrounded by family, according to his obituary on the Par-Troy Funeral Home website. He was 38 years old. In August 2024, Lorenzo survived a serious motorcycle accident in East Orange, an experience he called life-changing. 15-Year-Old Girl Killed In Double Jersey City Shooting: Prosecutor A 15-year-old girl was killed and her 37-year-old female relative was wounded in a Jersey City shooting late Saturday, Jan. 18, authorities said. Cianna Lee and the other victim were found with gunshot wounds in a car on Oak Street near Martin Luther King Drive and Union Street around 11 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
