UConn Student Dies After Falling From Campus Parking Garage A UConn student died after falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement below. The incident occurred in Tolland County around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 7 at the college in Storrs. According to Stephanie Reitz, director of communications for the college, UConn police and fire personnel responded following reports of a person falling from a high level of the south garage onto the pavement. It happened around 2 a.m. Saturday, March 2 in Tolland County on the eastbound side of I-84 in the town of Union. One tractor-trailer was traveling in the right and another was traveling in the center lane before it veered right for an unknown reason and struck the truck in the right lane, Connecticut State Police said. CT Man, 25, Killed In Hit-Run Crash Identified Police have released the identity of a 25-year-old Connecticut man killed in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash. Tolland County resident James Faulkner, of Vernon, was killed on Tuesday, Feb. 27 during a crash with a 2018 Infiniti Q50 on Prospect Street in Vernon. According to Lt. Robert Marra of the Vernon Police, the driver of the Infiniti fled the scene after hitting Vaulkner's motorcycle. Alert Issued For Missing Man In CT Alert Issued For Missing Man In CT
Alert Issued For Missing Man In CT Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man in Connecticut.  Justin Shvetz, age 40, was last seen in the Tolland County town of Vernon in the area of Old Town Road, Vernon Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 13 around 2:15 p.m. Shvetz is described as 5-foot-6 and 135 pounds, police said.
