Trio Nabbed For Westport Car Burglary After Ring Doorbell Alerts Resident, Police Say A 19-year-old and two juveniles were nabbed for allegedly burglarizing a vehicle after a Fairfield County homeowner was alerted to the crime by a Ring doorbell. The incident took place in Westport around 12:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 26 at a residence near Compo Beach. According to Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police, the resident reported that their Ring doorbell camera activated when a suspect entered a vehicle parked in the driveway. New York resident Zhicheng Wu, of Flushing, Queens, was stopped in Middlesex County around 1 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20 in the area of Westbrook.
