A Connecticut man is facing a felony assault charge after allegedly trespassing at a Hudson Valley, NY home, swimming in the residence’s pool, and later struggling with a sheriff’s deputy, authorities said.
Fairfield County resident Anthony James Morelli, 43, of Stamford, was arrested following the incident on Sunday, June 7, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday, June 9.

A mother of three was found dead, and a man was left fighting for his life after what police say was a domestic violence incident inside a Connecticut home.
Carrie Stetson, 54, a Winsted business owner, was found dead inside a home in the 200 block of Oak Street in Winchester, according to police. Leon Stetson, 67, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Hartford Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Authorities did not disclose the cause of her death.
