Restaurants in a hopping southern Connecticut community are appealing to stay open past the new 9:30 p.m. curfew put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19. In an effort to take advantage of outdoor dining opportunities, New Haven has pushed its Restaurant Week up by months. New Haven Restaurant Week will be Sept. 13-26, and 25 eateries are slated to participate. The city's Restaurant Week 2020 hadn't been slated to start until November when it may be too cold to eat outside comfortably.
