Police in Fairfield County are urging residents to stay alert after two home invasions were thwarted early Friday morning, Dec. 20. The first incident was reported just after 3:50 a.m. in Westport, where a homeowner near Compo Beach called 911 to report someone breaking into their home. Police Warn Local Residents After Home Burglary In Fairfield County
Police have released tips for area residents to prevent burglaries after a home was burglarized in Fairfield County. Authorities investigated a burglary at an unoccupied house on Butler Lane at about 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, according to the New Canaan Police Department. Neighborhood Watch Helps Cops Catch CT Drug Suspect
With help from vigilant neighbors, police in one Hartford County town were able to nab a man who may have been involved with car burglaries and had an alleged large amount of drugs including heroin. Peter Rolny, 46, of Wolcott, was arrested on Thursday, Jan. 7, after Southington police officers responded to Pleasant Street on a report of a suspicious vehicle and unknown people trespassing on multiple properties, police said.
