Major Brush Fire In NY Spreads Smoke Into CT A major brush fire over at least a dozen acres in the Hudson Valley produced smoke that spread across the New York border into Connecticut. The blaze broke out at around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 in Putnam County in the area of Route 301 and East Boyds Road in the town of Kent and was finally contained late in the day on Sunday, Oct. 27. Police ID Two Killed, Release New Details In Apparent Hudson Valley Road Rage Incident Police have identified two men killed and released new details after an apparent road rage incident on a busy roadway in the region. The incident took place in Putnam County on Interstate 84 in the town of Kent early Saturday morning, July 2. An initial investigation determined the two men, both from Dutchess County, Mark H.
