State troopers responded to the Adamec Road business in Willington on Tuesday, Jan. 8, just after 7 p.m. to a chaotic scene. About 20 people were attempting to break up a melee between the three men and the victim, state police reported. CT Hunter Dies After Falling From Tree Stand: Police A Connecticut hunter was killed early Friday morning, Nov. 22, after they fell from a tree stand, authorities said.  Police in Harwinton are investigating the Terryville Road incident. Authorities were called to the scene just after 10 a.m., State Police said.  The fall remains under investigation, but no more information was released Friday afternoon. Fuel Truck Fire Shuts Down I-91, Hazmat Crews Called to Scene A tractor-trailer carrying 7,500 gallons of fuel erupted into flames on I-91, prompting a massive emergency response and full highway closures. State troopers rushed to the scene around 7:42 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, in the northbound lane near exit 24 in Wethersfield to find the truck’s cab fully engulfed in flames. The driver managed to escape unharmed, State Police said.  Wethersfield and Rocky Hill firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, while troopers shut down all lanes of I-91 northbound and southbound in the area, as well as connecting traffic from Route 3. Man Dies After Fall While Rock Climbing In Central Mass State Forest A man fell and died on Thursday, July 11, in Leominster State Forest, the Worcester County District Attorney announced.  Little is known as of Thursday night as State Police are investigating the circumstances around the death.
