The Cross Sound Ferry from New London, CT to Orient, NY cancelled departures at 6:30 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. from Connecticut, the service announced. Additionally, trips scheduled to depart Orient at 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. were called off. Police ID CT Man, 21, Killed In Rhode Island Crash A 21-year-old Connecticut man was killed earlier this week in a two-car crash in Coventry, Rhode Island.  Liam Stahlbush, of Sterling, was identified as the victim in a fatal crash on Tuesday, Sept. 22, near Harkney Hill and Camp Westwood roads, police said Thursday.  Rhode Island Troopers found heavy damage to the front of both vehicles. Gregory Allen, 55, of Manchester, was driving west on I-84 near the Exit 57 ramp to Route 5/15 south in East Hartford at about 6:20 a.m. when his 2003 Honda CR-V left the highway, struck an exit sign, and rolled into the grass, Connecticut State Police said.
