A community in Fairfield County is mourning the sudden death of a high school student-athlete. Elliott Kropf, a senior who attended New Canaan High School, died on Saturday night, Sept. 14. A teenager was killed in a two-vehicle crash on a Connecticut roadway. It happened around 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, in Fairfield County, on southbound Route 25 in Trumbull.
