A Connecticut man was killed a car crashed into him on Route 2 before it sped away, leaving him on the side of the road in Preston, authorities said. Robert Edwin McGlothin, 57, was identified as the pedestrian struck on Monday, Oct. 27, just before 9:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police said. Troopers are investigating the crash. Decorated NYC Firefighter Killed In Hit-Run Motorcycle Crash
A decorated FDNY firefighter was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Manhattan. Matthew Goicochea, 31, was riding his motorcycle on the FDR Drive around 3:45 a.m. Thursday, July 25 when he collided with another vehicle and fell onto the roadway, according to police.
