Elderly Couple Dies Of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Montvale Home An elderly couple died from apparent carbon monoxide poisoning after being found unresponsive inside a New Jersey home during a welfare check Saturday night, July 11, police said. Montvale police and firefighters responded to a residence at 2 Lexington Lane at approximately 9:21 p.m., according to Montvale Police Chief Doug McDowell.
