Connecticut's minimum wage is set to increase in the coming days as part of the state's five-year plan to increase the minimum wage to $15 in 2023. Gov. Connecticut's minimum wage is set to increase to $13 soon, as the state progresses toward a $15 minimum wage. Beginning Sunday, Aug. 1, the minimum wage will increase from $12 per hour to $13 per hour. The legislation was signed into law by Gov. Chipotle Mexican Grill is increasing menu prices to cover the costs of raising its workers’ wages, the company announced. Consumers will see price increases of approximately 4 percent at the popular Mexican food chain, with that money being used to increase employees’ paychecks following the company’s announcement that hourly wages for workers would reach an average of $15 by the end of the month.
