CT Man Accused Of Opening Fire Outside Building A Bloomfield man is behind bars after police say he fired shots outside a West Hartford building earlier this month. Taffarie Murphy, 43, was arrested Friday, Feb. 28, and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm, first-degree reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a firearm, and first-degree criminal mischief, according to West Hartford police. Officers responded to 450 New Park Ave. on Thursday, Feb. 20, after receiving multiple reports of gunfire. On Tuesday, June 18, the Stamford Police Department Major Crimes Unit concluded its investigation into New Haven County resident Tyssan Woods of Waterbury for his involvement in three carjackings that occurred during the early mornings of Tuesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 28, in Stamford.  According to Capt.
