A new federal release is giving the public another look at unexplained sightings.
The Department of War released its third batch of declassified UFO and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena records on Friday, June 12, via its public UAP portal at war.gov/UFO.
The latest release includes 53 documents, 10 images, six videos, and three NASA audio recordings from the CIA, FBI, NASA, and the Department of Defense.
The records include several accounts involving orb-like objects, glowing lights, and historical UFO reports.

Gene Shalit, the longtime NBC "Today" show film and book critic known for his bushy mustache, bright bow ties, wild hair, and pun-filled reviews, died Friday, June 12, NBC News reported. He was 100.
His family told NBC News that Shalit died peacefully after what they described as an amazing life.

A Connecticut man who admitted to killing his estranged wife, a well-loved business owner and mother of three, has been arrested, police said. He also attempted suicide after the attack, but failed.
Leon Stetson, 67, was arrested Thursday, June 12, and charged with murder, home invasion, and violation of a protective order in the death of Carrie Stetson, 54, Connecticut State Police said.

Facebook and Instagram users reported widespread problems on Friday, June 12, with reports of disruption spiking sharply on Downdetector shortly after 9 a.m.
Downdetector showed about 69,000 user reports for Facebook issues around 10 a.m., including a spike of 69,569 reports at 9:39 a.m.
