Two Metro-North trains were temporarily taken offline on Monday, Feb. 17, after striking trees. The first was reported just after 7:30 a.m. in Wilton, Metro-North said in a social media post. Details have been released in the death of a Connecticut high school student over the weekend. Earlier report - New Canaan HS Student-Athlete Elliott Kropf Dies Suddenly Elliott Kropf, a New Canaan High School senior and hockey player, was struck and killed by a train on Saturday, Sept. 14, a Metro-North spokesperson tells Daily Voice.
