Man Stabbed In Neck After Argument During Night Of Drinking In CT: Police
A night of drinking ended with one man stabbed in the neck and another facing assault charges in Connecticut, police said. The incident unfolded Friday night, Aug. 7, near Palmer Field in Middletown, where the two men were having a drink, police said. At some point an argument broke out between them, and a 59-year-old Raymond Rogala pulled a knife and stabbed the man in the neck, Middlebury police said. Officers arrived to find an adult man suffering from stab wounds. Medics took him to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries that Middlebury police described as non-life-threatening. …

Three people were rushed to hospitals after a Jeep Grand Cherokee slammed into a guardrail, ejecting two passengers and trapping the driver. The crash happened Sunday, Aug. 9, at about 5 p.m. near Connecticut Avenue and Elmcrest Terrace in Norwalk. The SUV was heading north when it struck the guardrail at high speed, fire officials said.
