A husband has been charged with killing his wife, who was found on a bedroom floor with multiple men's neckties wrapped around her neck, authorities announced on Friday, Aug. 14.
Michael P. Myers, 59, of Bristol Borough, was arrested after his wife, 54-year-old Dawn Myers, was found dead inside their home at 1305 Wood Street early Thursday, Aug. 13, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Myers is charged with criminal homicide, strangulation, aggravated assault, intimidation of witnesses or victims, possession of an instrument of crime, and false imprisonment. Court recor…

A sleeping child was thrown onto the pavement outside a Lancaster County Walmart, leading to a man's arrest, police announced on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Justin Martin Wagner, 41, of Lancaster, was arrested following the incident at the Walmart at 890 East Main St. in Ephrata Township at 6:58 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, according to the Ephrata Police Department.
Wagner had been causing a disturbance inside the store before witnesses saw him take a sleeping child from a shopping cart, lift the child into the air, and throw the child onto the pavement in the parking lot, police said.

A Connecticut husband, father, and grandfather died after suffering a traumatic injury in July. His family said he managed much of the household’s finances, and they are asking for help with funeral costs and other expenses.
Theodore “Ted” Muszynski, of Wallingford, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was 80, according to his obituary. His family did not disclose the nature of his injury, but said he spent weeks in the hospital before moving to hospice care.

Babies Suffer Injuries From Recalled Swings, Jumpers: See Which Ones
More than 41,000 baby jumpers and swings have been recalled after dozens of reported injuries.
Taleco Gear issued the recall for about 41,100 G Taleco Gear Baby Jumpers, Baby Swings, and 2-in-1 Baby Jumper & Swings, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday, Aug. 13. About 150 were also sold in Canada.
The jumpers and swings can become unstable, creating fall and impact dangers. Hanging restraint straps and seat openings can also pose a risk of strangulation.
