Woman Charged With Assault Of Baby In Wilton, Police Say
A Fairfield County daycare worker has been arrested after a six-month-old baby suffered a traumatic brain injury allegedly while in her care. On Tuesday, Feb. 9, Wilton Police dispatch received a 911 call from the Goddard School at 385 Danbury Road (Route 7) in Wilton, regarding a 6-month-old boy who was breathing, but unresponsive, said Lieutenant Gregg Phillipson. The child was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Wilton EMS, and following initial medical evaluation was found to have suffered a brain injury.
