Raveis was recognized last week at the 10th annual Moffly Media Light a Fire Awards Ceremony, emceed by Broadway star James Naughton, which honors the nonprofit and philanthropic work of Fairfield County’s community heroes. Construction Begins To Extend Wilton Loop Of Norwalk River Valley Trail
WILTON, Conn. — Timber & Stone has started construction on a 2,000-foot extension of the Wilton Loop of the Norwalk River Valley Trail. “With the strong support of the Wilton community, we’re excited about extending the Loop beyond the recently completed boardwalk to Twin Oak Lane,” said Pat Sesto, president of the Friends of the Norwalk River Valley Trail. FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Schneerson Center of Connecticut will celebrate Hanukkah with several community Menorah lightings in Westport, Weston, Wilton and Norwalk. TRUMBULL, Conn. — The Kennedy Center raised about $170,000 for its residential services for people with disabilities and celebrated its longtime leader at the 53rd annual Four Seasons Ball. 30 Musicians Rock Out In Wilton This Weekend To Help The Hungry
WILTON, Conn. – Wilton Rocks for Food will host its third benefit concert for the Connecticut Food Bank and the Wilton Food Pantry on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m., at the Trackside Teen Center in Wilton. The concert will feature more than 30 Wilton musicians. Last year’s event raised more than $48,000 for the two organizations.
