Ripka's Giving Trees Celebrates The Season While Supporting Norwalk Groups NORWALK, Conn. -- Families found their perfect Christmas tree while supporting a number of Norwalk organizations, as Ripka's Giving Tree wrapped up its first annual event. Ripka's Giving Tree was held on Dec. 2 at Ripka's Beach Café at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. More than 50 trees, wreaths and decorations were unloaded. Dozens of the beautiful wreaths were decorated by families at one of the three decoration stations set up, where red bows and sparkly ornaments awaited them. The zoo’s 10-year-old Amur tiger Changbai gave birth to four cubs on Nov. 25.
