Fairfield County Resident Who Was Longtime Sales Rep Dies
A man who grew up in Westchester County and spent more than 50 years working at an insurance company in Connecticut has died at the age of 91. Fairfield County resident Anthony “Tony” Ragusa, of Wilton, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 4, following a brief illness, according to his obituary. He was born in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School. Ragusa went on to study at Mercy College and serve in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956 when he was honorably discharged, his obituary said. James Lewis Perkins, 83, born to Frederick and Charlotte Lewis Perkins of Port Chester, died on Tuesday, Nov. 12 in Fort Pierce, Florida. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1954 and married the former Dorothy Rennie in 1957. They were married for many years and have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jim became an electrician in 1960 after completing a five-year apprenticeship and was employed by the Port Chester Electric Company. Captain Joseph A Macri, U.S. Coast Guard, Retired, died April 10 of natural causes. He was born in Greenwich on August 25, 1924. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie and is survived by sons Joseph (Chris) and Michael (Jan) and daughters Susan Tucker, Catherine Fleming (David) and Theresa Fusetti (Ron) and their families.
