The Fire Department also showed off their brand new Chief's Vehicle. The Montrose Fire Department won the evening's Best Overall award.

Ada M. Giordano, 85, Of Port Chester PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Ada M. Giordano, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, died on Saturday, Aug. 8. She was 85. Giordano was born on July 24, 1930, to Anthony and Elizabeth Tamburri Vitti. She was the head bartender for more than 20 years at the American Yacht Club in Rye. She is survived by her children, John and his wife, Joni of Port Chester, daughter Susan of Ossining, brother Edgar Vitti and his wife, Catherine of Port Chester, three grandsons, John and wife Kristen, Anthony and Marc, and a great-grandson. George E. Standing, Jr., 61, Of Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. – George E. Standing, Jr., a lifelong Fairfield resident, died on Monday, Aug. 10. He was 61. Standing was born in Bridgeport to George and Muriel (Wallace) Standing. He graduated from Ludlowe High School, Sacred Heart University and Fairfield University. He served as the health inspector for the Town of Fairfield until retiring in 2009. Standing is survived by his wife Lucy (Pearce), sister Sheila Tesei and her husband, Brian of Trumbull. Andrew Cuomo and television chef, has recovered enough to leave the hospital this weekend, according to People Magazine. Lee had been hospitalized on Tuesday due to complications stemming from a double mastectomy she underwent in May. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in March. Community Mourns Sudden Loss Of Mahopac Teenager MAHOPAC, N.Y. – Mahopac residents are coping with the sudden loss of a local teenager this week. Hannah Mikus was rushed to Putnam Hospital Center after suffering a seizure Monday, according to News 12. She later was taken to Westchester Medical Center, where she died.
