Runners return to Westport Saturday for the penultimate race in the Westport Summer Series. The 9.3-mile race begins at 8 a.m. at Compo Beach.
The race has been blessed with terrific running conditions in almost every race this summer. There have been over 100 finishers in each race, including 115 for last week's 8-mile run. The series concludes next Saturday with a 10-mile run.
Adam Mulia of Brooklyn won last week's race. Catherine Galin of Westport paced the women's field. For more information, log on to the Westport Road Runners website.
