Elizabeth Campbell Shoults, 74, Of Redding, Real Estate Broker

REDDING, Conn. - Elizabeth Campbell Shoults (nee Locke), died July 12. She was 74.

Shoults was born June 15, 1939. She was a graduate of the George School and attended Wells College and the University of Montpelier in Southern France where she studied French literature. She married her husband, Martin, in England, but relocated with him to the United States in 1968 and subsequently settled in Redding over the next 17 years. During this time, she built a career as a real estate broker in Redding and Ridgefield. In 1997, she and her husband sold their home in Redding, and moved to Naples, Fla.

Shoults is survived by her husband, Martin; sister, Cynthia of Weston Vermont; son, Nicholas of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; daughter, Tamsin of Ridgefield; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy.

A funeral service will be held July 17 for the immediate family and close friends with an interment service scheduled for Liz and Cathy Aug. 31 at the Umpawaug Cemetery in Redding at 11 a.m.
