Will Travel for Food

The best food to be had in Westchester County next week is actually right next door. Rockland County will host the 16th annual A Taste of Rockland festival and fundraiser on Monday, Sept. 26 at the Hilton Pearl River.

More than 55 eateries will cook to impress, including several event newcomers like Alain’s French Bistro, Bella Gianna’s (formerly Romolo's), Il Portico, Mt. Fuji and more.

Kick off the evening with samples of wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails as you nosh on finger foods in Le Jardin Room.

Afterwards, you can really get your taste on in the ballroom as chefs tempt with sample dishes and delicacies.

The cost for the evening is $150 per person, and proceeds benefit ARC of Rockland, a non-profit providing support and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

All this deliciousness in one place seems to merit a trip across the Hudson, don’t you think?
