Gunfire erupted on a Connecticut street, sparking a foot chase that ended with two arrests, two handguns seized, and police accusing one man of firing at another during a neighborhood confrontation.
Melvin Garcia, 18, and Jose Morales, 34, both of Norwalk, were arrested after Garcia ran from officers and tried to throw away a handgun. Detectives later determined Morales fired at another person during the confrontation, authorities said.
