Three Arrested In CT Hoarding Case Where Some 200 Cats Were Found, Police Say
Three Connecticut adults were charged with 106 counts of animal cruelty in connection to a cat hoarding incident. The incident was discovered in Litchfield County on Monday, June 13 in Winsted. The arrests took place on Wednesday, Oct. 19. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, on June 13, the department received an anonymous phone call about a sick cat at a home on Moore Avenue. 15-Year-Old Stabs Parent With Pocket Knife At CT Residence, Police Say
A Connecticut teen has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a parent with a pocket knife. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 on Pratt Street. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at the home and found that a 15-year-old had stabbed a parent with a pocket knife. Serious Assault Critically Injuring Victim Under Investigation, CT State Police Say
Connecticut State Police are investigating a serious assault that left a man in critical condition. The incident took place during the late morning hours at a residence on Wednesday, Sept. 29 in the town of Winchester in Litchfield County. The man was transported by helicopter to Hartford Hospital, state police said. The scene is active and under investigation.
