Snow Could Hit Trumbull Today Ahead Of Slightly Warmer Week FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Some snow and sleet could hit Fairfield County Monday afternoon and evening ahead of a week that will be slightly warmer than last week. Light wintry precipitation is expected to hit in the afternoon, with a 50 percent chance of snow predicted after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Along the coast, a wintry mix of snow, sleet and possibly freezing rain will hit, while inland locations will most likely be hit by snow. About half an inch of snow is expected.
