Sonic is reportedly opening its newest restaurant in the Nutmeg State, with road signs announcing that the popular drive-in is heading to the Route 7 Travel Plaza in New Milford. The restaurant will revive the building on the corner of Route 7 and Still River Road, which has been vacant for years. The area is also expected to include a new Sunoco gas station. Connecticut State Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down the vehicle driven by two suspects who allegedly robbed a Stafford gas station. At approximately 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, two suspects burglarized the “Eagle Mart” Sunoco gas station by smashing through the front door of the building. The suspects then took money, merchandise and were caught on camera leaving the scene.
