Woman Killed After Being Thrown From SUV In Trumbull Crash
A woman who was killed after being thrown from an SUV in a crash on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County. It happened southbound near Exit 50 in South Trumbull at around 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, state police said. Pamela Maestri-Howes, 59, of Easton, was ejected from the Ford Explorer she was driving after it collided with a Mercedes-Benz E3504m. After the collision, the Explorer struck a guard rail, then crossed the right and left lanes before rolling over. Seen Him? State Police Search For Convict With Fairfield County Ties
State police are asking the public for help locating a former Bridgeport man who is wanted for violating the terms of his release. Jason Voss, 44, who was convicted on three drug charges, failed to submit a DNA sample, that was required as a condition of his release, state police said. He was arrested three times for possession of marijuana, with the last in 2015. He was given a seven-year suspended sentence, with a conditional discharge that included the DNA testing, state police said. State police have made numerous unsuccessful efforts to find Voss. Police Search For Car Involved In Robbery Last Seen Getting Off I-95 Exit
Have you seen it? State and local police departments are searching for a vehicle connected to a robbery at a rest stop on the Merritt Parkway in New Canaan on Saturday afternoon. The incident, on the northbound side, reportedly involved three Hispanic men in a 2007 gray Ford Fusion with Connecticut plates. The vehicle was last seen getting off of I-95 Exit 28 in Bridgeport.
