New York State will launch direct enforcement of businesses in "hotspot" cluster areas and Gov. Andrew Cuomo said some schools may be ordered to close in-person learning due to insufficient COVID-19 testing. Within the top 20 ZIP codes in counties with recent outbreaks - Brooklyn (Kings), Queens and Rockland and Orange counties - the average rate of positive tests is 4.8 percent. One of New York City’s greatest attractions has been given the green light to start reopening amid the COVID-19 outbreak. During a COVID-19 press briefing in Manhattan on Wednesday, Sept. 9, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that restaurants in New York City will be permitted to resume indoor dining, albeit at 25 percent capacity, beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Man Stabbed With Own Knife After Being Thrown Out Of Stamford Strip Club
A father celebrating his 51st birthday with his two sons at an area strip club ended up stabbed several times with his own knife after being thrown out of the club. The incident took place around 12:25 a.m. Sunday, April 7, at Mystique Gentleman's Club at early 44 Poplar St., in Stamford, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
