Monroe Man Charged In Double-Fatal Crash That Left Another Critical
A 30-year-old man has been arrested for two counts of manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash that two people dead and another in critical condition.
The horrific two-vehicle crash took place in Fairfield County around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, on River Road in Shelton.
During the crash, two people, including, Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia, were killed, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango.
Pirulli, a graduate of Masuk High School, was the daughter of longtime Bridgeport Police Officer Mario Pirulli.

A 20--year-old woman killed during a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County was the daughter of an area police officer.
Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, was killed, along with 31-year-old Adrian Miles, of Ansonia, during a crash around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, on River Road in Shelton, said the Shelton Police.

Two people killed overnight in a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County have been identified.
Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia, were killed during the crash around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, on River Road in Shelton, said Shelton Police Lt. Christopher Nugent.
Two passengers, Meghan Nealy, 26, of Ansonia, is currently listed in critical condition and Rakiem Reid, 30, of Derby, was treated and released from the hospital, said Nugent.

Pregnant Woman, Teen Identified As Fairfield County Fatal Crash Victims
A pregnant woman and an 18-year-old killed during a two-car crash in Fairfield County have been identified.
Briana Torres-Carter, 23, of Bridgeport, who was pregnant, and Shalymar Herrera, 18, of West Haven were pronounced dead at the scene of a two-car crash on Sunday in Shelton, said Lt. Robert Kozlowsky.
Both were passengers in a Mini Cooper that was being operated by Torres-Carter's husband, 19-year-old Lawrence Carter of Bridgeport, Kozlowsky said.
Lawrence Carter is currently in the hospital in critical condition. Also in the Mini Cooper was 19-year-old Jessie Abrams of Bridgeport. …
