3 Juveniles Were Nabbed For Trumbull Armed Robbery, Police Say
Three teens were nabbed for an alleged armed robbery after a police pursuit, crash, and foot chase in Fairfield County. The arrests occurred in Westport around 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. According to Westport Police Chief Foti Koskinas, the department received information from Trumbull Police to be on the lookout for a black Infiniti occupied by three suspects reported to be involved in an armed robbery in Trumbull. A 21-year-old turned himself in to police for a hit-and-run crash that killed a Fairfield County man. Nathan Antonio Roman was charged with evading responsibility causing death in the Tuesday, Jan. 17 crash that killed a 52-year-old local man in Bridgeport at the intersection of East Main Street and Pulaski Street.. Suspect Nabbed In Crash That Injured Three Pedestrians In Stamford
A lengthy investigation into a late-night crash that left three pedestrians hospitalized in Fairfield County led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man who was taken into custody this week. Investigators from the Stamford Police Department responded to Hope Street at approximately 12:51 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, where there was a report of a driver who hopped a curb and struck three pedestrians in their front yard. 20-Year-Old Charged With DWI After Car Crashes Into Newtown House
A 20-year-old man has been charged with drunk driving after allegedly crashing into a Newtown home. The incident took place just after midnight on Saturday, Feb. 1, on Church Hill Road, said the Newtown Police. The department, who said the 911 caller reported that their house had "fallen down," quickly arrived on the scene and found that the home had been struck by a Ford F-350 driven by Andrew Anglace, of Newtown, police said. Man Assaults Officer With Vehicle During Pursuit, Police Say
A Newtown Police officer was injured earlier this month while attempting to apprehend a man in what began as a routine traffic stop. The incident unfolded on Sunday, Oct. 7, when Newtown officers attempted to stop John Paul Suero of Danbury for having license plates that did not match the vehicle, the department said in a press release.
