The crash took place around 1:10 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, in Fairfield County at the intersection of Putnam and Park streets in Bridgeport, said Bridgeport Police Sgt. Darryl Wilson. Suspect On Loose After Man Shot In Bridgeport A suspect is on the loose after a man was shot overnight in Bridgeport. Shots were fired at around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 9 in the area of 789/791 William St., where the victim was struck by gunfire,  Bridgeport Police said. The victim fled on foot to Putnam Street where he was found by responding officers, according to police. The man sustained a wound to his neck and was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.
