Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle Crossing Street In Norwalk A pedestrian was hospitalized in Norwalk on Wednesday morning after she was struck by a car while walking near a parking lot. Police said that a woman was hospitalized after being struck while walking in a crosswalk near a garage shortly after 8 a.m. Speed was not believed to be a factor in the incident, and the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. The pedestrian was said to be “alert and conscious” and was transported to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
