One Injured In Fairfield County After Crashing Into Construction Ditch
One person was injured in Fairfield County after allegedly ignoring traffic cones and their vehicle ended up in a construction ditch, according to authorities. The crash took place around 9:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 13 on Locust Avenue, in New Canaan, said Lt. Jason Ferraro, of the New Canaan Police. The vehicle sustained front-end damage. The driver was transported to Norwalk Emergency Room by NCEMS for evaluation of possible injuries, Ferraro said. The crash is still under investigation. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

Passed Out Driver Flees Police, Crashes Vehicle In New Canaan, Police Say
An erratic driver who fled from police in Fairfield County landed in the hospital following a crash. The incident took place around 1:47 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, when the New Canaan Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Ponus Ridge Road on a report of an erratic operator, said Lt. Jason Ferraro. Responding units observed a light-colored minivan stopped on Ponus Ridge Road with the operator initially unresponsive in the driver's seat, Ferraro said. Man Charged With Reckless Driving After Car Hits Rock Wall In New Canaan
A Westchester County man is facing charges in Connecticut after allegedly driving recklessly, losing control of his car and driving into a rock wall, according to police in New Canaan. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Feb. 10, officers from the New Canaan Police Department were dispatched to the area of Oenoke Ridge Road and Saint Marks Church, where there was a report of a single-vehicle crash that left the driver with injuries.
