FIve Taken Into Custody After Officer Fires Shots During Narcotics Investigation In Bridgeport Five men were arrested during a narcotics investigation in which an officer fired his gun after fearing for his life, Bridgeport Police said. The incident took place around 1:37 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, when officers and detectives assigned to the Narcotics Unit were conducting an investigation in the area of Pembroke Street involving a stolen vehicle, and a man who was in possession of a firearm, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
