Woman Who Repeatedly Called 911 Becomes Belligerent With Officers, New Canaan PD Says
A woman who called 911 five times in less than an hour became belligerent when responding officers performed a welfare check in New Canaan, police said.
Police responded on Thursday, Nov. 14 at about 11:15 p.m.
Madeleine Arnheim, 47, called 911 five times between 11:06 p.m. and 12:11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, according to New Canaan Police.
Knapp, who police say screamed at the officers when they arrived, was taken into custody and charged with disorderly contact and misuse of 911/false alarm.
She is due in court on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
