A Fairfield County man is behind bars after allegedly vandalizing several cars and forcing his way into an apartment with people inside, including children. The incident took place in Greenwich around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14 in the area of Mill Street and Henry Street. According to Greenwich Police Deputy Chief Mark Zuccerella, officers responded to the area on a report of a man, later identified as Edwin Gutierrez-Vasco, age 52, of Greenwich, stabbing with a knife and damaging vehicles that were parked on the side of the street. Police arrested a man after being notified that a stolen vehicle was traveling on a street in Fairfield County street. Jose Tejada, age 34, of the Bronx, was arrested on Saturday, Jan. 9, after police in Greenwich were notified that a stolen white Jeep Cherokee had been spotted on an automated license plate reader heading into Greenwich on Mill Street, said the Greenwich Police. A 35-year-old motorist from Fairfield has been charged with DUI after crossing the double-yellow line in Greenwich, according to police. Man Driving Without License Charged With DUI After Running Red Light In Greenwich, Police Say
A man is facing DUI charges after driving without a license and running a red light in Greenwich, according to police. Greenwich Police say officers were patrolling the area of Mill Street and Mead Avenue when a driver ran a red light on Monday, July 8 around 1:30 a.m. The officers initiated a traffic stop and interviewed the driver, who identified himself as Alexander Lucero, police say.
