Car Crashes Into Pet Store In Trumbull A vehicle crashed into a pet store plowing all the way inside the building after the driver reportedly lost control, officials said.  The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Pet Valu store located at 37 Monroe Turnpike, said the Long Hill Volunteer on Facebook. Long Hill Firefighters Tackle Burning Car Overnight On Route 25 TRUMBULL, Conn. — It was a busy start to the New Years as volunteers from the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Department extinguished the fire after a car burst into flames, according to a Facebook post. The fully involved car fire occurred on Route 25 in Trumbull at 3 a.m. Monday, the Facebook post said.  No further information was available on the blaze.
