Motorcyclist Killed In Crash That Causes Five-Hour Route 15 Closure, State Police Say One motorcycle rider was killed during a crash with another motorcycle on northbound Route 15 Tuesday, July 2. Julio Rodriguez, 31, of Hartford, was killed around 1 a.m. in the area of Exit 85 in Hartford, said the Connecticut State Police. Troopers said the two motorcycles were traveling on Route 15 north when both drivers lost control of their bikes at the same time and struck the right shoulder metal guardrails. The driver of the other motorcycle, Charles Wooding, 24, of Vernon, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital. Route 15 was closed for mor…

Officer Rodriguez, of the Special Services Division, was recognized at the annual Norwalk Police Awards on Thursday, Feb. 7.
